Up Close and Personal
“Up close and personal” is how we are relating to the mosaic tesserae (pieces that get glued onto the mosaic). The second panel is complete, except for the detailed work in the crowd scene and the buildings.
Tweezers, fingers, whatever works.
Buildings and crowd take shape.
Several figures and a dog are now made of tiny tile.
The buildings are being constructed from tile that has been cut with a saw into precise shapes.
This week’s saw-man.
Mosaic-meister draws the third panel using reference photos, models, and imagination.
